Condolences
Condolence From: Ellen Kindle, Westerville, Ohio
Condolence: Coming in late here but we were just at Refectory last night and have only now heard from Kamal about John. To his family, I'm sure you already know what a spectacular human he was. It is so fortunate that he found two outlets for sharing his gifts - teaching and working at Refectory. We always changed our reservation if John wasn't working that night because he wasn't just servin' up the wine...he was always serving up a great experience. So fun to talk to and so kind. I always felt he had a special energy....so I am SURE you will be feeling his "appearances" here and there for the rest of your lives. Welcome that and be open to it. He was always so proud of all of you. Ellen

Condolence: He was my favorite history teacher at C-TEC. He made history fun to learn. I remember he always had the class laughing . He always had good advice when I needed it. His kindness and helpfulness will be missed. He was the only teacher that made history fun to learn and enjoyable for me. Prayers for his family and friends.

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear about your Dad’s unexpected death. We enjoyed seeing him at the Refectory when you all were still kids. His knowledge of wine and food was incredible and he will be missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love, Dave and Anita

Condolence: Natalie, Emily and Brian we are so sorry for your loss. Know we are always here for you.
Uncle John, thank you for having my back in the great Pepsi/Coke debate and always having a Pepsi ready for me! I loved the bottles of wine you have given me to celebrate those big occasions and the stories behind them. One is still on my mantle today - empty of course. You always were there for my Dad when he needed you most and your love for your kids has shined through like no other. I will always cherish being a ‘big cousin’ to them. Fly high in that sky and make us some wine/champagne clouds when you have a chance. You are loved.

Condolence: My favorite teacher of all time. I miss talking with you and all your wisdom. Thank you for being such a great teacher and friend. My oldest son still remembers us visiting you even after my graduation and how you would teach him your karate moves and get him snacks he knows you meant a lot to me. I’m sorry we lost contact after your retirement i wish you could have gotten to talk to you again. Rest easy my friend you will be missed and always remembered.
