I am very saddened to here of the loss of a colleague from Georgia Tech, who was always helpful and available to give useful advice to young faculty at Georgia Tech working in the Microelectronics Clean Room. Through his generosity and sincere comments and suggests, many difficulties were avoided and progress was made on our research projects. I remember his unique sense of humor, which always helped in crisis on a project. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.
