Obituary for Betty Oliver

Condolence: My wife Claire enjoyed a very close friendship with Betty, probably starting with a bridge group. Recently, there wasn't a week went by that Claire would call Betty and talk for an hour or more. Unfortunately, Claire suffered a stroke on Nov. 14 and is still hospitalized. I won't tell Claire about Betty until she is fully recovered. But be sure that Betty will be missed. Claire will be devastated.

We had five games going and she actually played the day before she passed. We were neighbors as well. I did not know Betty well, but always heard great things about her.
