Condolence: Regretfully the miles keep me from being with you at this time, but the Biven family is in my thoughts and prayers. Whenever visiting the Rotary Club you were always welcomed with a smile and warm greeting from Jim. He was dedicated to all that Rotary represents and lived the motto, Service Above Self. RIP, until we meet again.
If a memory card is available, please mail one to me.

Condolence From: Ron and Tammy Pusateri, Westerville, Ohio
Condolence: Jim has passed but will always be remembered for what he stood for and how he always wast there for others first. Jim epitomized “Service above Self” from his years with Westerville Sunrise Rotary, Honor Flight Westerville and Wreaths Across America.
We worked together supporting the Field of Heroes, from building the float to supporting the theme programs at the Field of Heroes.

You just asked him once and he would say when do you want to come over to the house and start cutting wood. Never a hesitation nor a I am too busy.

We spent time with Jim at many breakfast following our Honor Flight meetings jut being friends and thinking about what else we could do to support these programs.

We will greatly miss Jim but always remember him and hopefully follow his ways to Service above self.

He leaves behind a great family of grandchildren and great grandchildren and always was there for his family

God bless you

Condolence: Jim was the epitome of Rotary’s motto, “Service above Self.” I remember Jim saying, “Rotarians never say no.” He was always the first one to volunteer and with a smile. I will miss that smile and talking to him on Wednesday mornings. My condolences to all of you.

Condolence: I am Jim's neighbors daughter. My kids grew up calling him Grandpa Jim. Jim always made peanut and cashew brittle at Christmas time, it was the best. I remember he always helped out got my mom's mail, when she traveled with me. She would bring him something back and then they would talk about the trip. He truly was a kind and gentle man. Thinking of his family and hoping you feel his love and guidance in the days ahead.

Condolence: We are so very to learn of Jim's passing. He was the very first person we met when we attended Westerville Christian Church. He saw that we were new and made sure that we felt welcome. After that initial meeting, he always greeted us with a hug and a smile. Since that time we have grown very fond of Jim with his positive outlook and love of Jesus. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: To all the Biven family,
Your dear father was beloved by so many! He truly was a servant to our community. Our family was lucky to reconnect these last few months with both our fathers in the hospital at the same time. He will be missed terribly.
Our deepest sympathies to you all.
