Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 and from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, February 3, at the Westerville Bible Church, 2665 W. Schrock Rd., Westerville. Services will be held at the church at 10 a.m. Friday February 3, with Pastor Paul Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.

Kilgore Louise A, age 84, of Westerville, peacefully passed away Thursday January 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. 
 
She was born to the late Louis and Dorothy Mueller on April 24, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio. Louise graduated from Grandview Heights High School and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She married the late Robert Kilgore in 1958.  
 
Louise loved arts and crafts.  Her favorites were needlework and knitting.  She was a needlework instructor, lecturer, designer, and judge. She completed Judges’ Certification through National Academy of the Needlearts (NAN), Teachers’ Certification in Canvas through NAN, and was a Senior Master Teacher through American Needlepoint Guild (ANG). She taught for over 35 years for chapters and national and regional seminars. Her judging experience included guild and chapter exhibits, Stitchery Showcase, The Exemplary (NAN), and state and county fairs.  She has served in a number of volunteer roles for both Embroiderers Guild of America (EGA) and NAN.
 
She loved family and friends.  It was important to have Sunday family dinners, family vacations, and holiday gatherings with family and friends.  She was a member of the Westerville Bible Church where she was loved and cared for especially since Robert passed away in 2014.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert O. Sr. and her parents Louis and Dorothy Mueller. Survived by her sons, Robert O. Jr. (Cassie) and James David (Carol); grandsons, John (Cassandra) and Brandon; great-granddaughter Isla; and brother, David (Margret) Mueller.
