Obituary for Janice L. Broughman

Janice L. (Woods) Broughman, 83, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, February 4th, 2015. Born October 1931 in West Lafayette, Indiana to Beulah and Lloyd Woods. She attended grade and high school in West Lafayette. On June 19, 1954 she married Daniel Broughman who along with her sister Barbara Gick precede her in death. Janice enjoyed bowling, gardening, bird watching and the beach! She was the ultimate homemaker, mother, wife and friend. She enjoyed doting on her grand and great grandchildren. Former member of The Lakes Golf and Country Club. Survived by her children, Susan (Robert) Long, Gale (Roger) Broome, Gary (Mary) Broughman, and Karon (Harry) Stone; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with one on the way, sisters Joan Pell, Shirley Duffy and Carol Gillis. There will be a memorial service for friends and family in the Chapel at Blendon Central Cemetery on March 2nd, 2015 at 2 pm followed by a private family burial.
