Obituary for William Sunderland

William H. Sunderland, 68, of Galena, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 with family by his side. He was born on June 10, 1947 in Wabern, Germany. Bill served in the U.S. Armed Forces as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked at Bank One, IBM, and JPMorgan Chase as an IT Analyst. Bill was a loving husband, father, uncle, son, brother-in law, and a dear friend to many. Preceded in death by wife, Robin A. Rice Sunderland; father, Milton Sunderland; mother, Emily Sunderland; and dog, Popper. He is survived by daughter, Stephanie L. Sunderland; dog, Maddie; sister, Linda (Frank); sister, Susan (Dale) Blevins Lehmann; niece, Nicole (Ryan) Whigham; nephew, Aidan Blevins; niece, Claire Blevins; and many wonderful friends. Friends may call 9:30 to 11 AM Saturday at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S State St, Westerville where services will be held at 11AM Saturday. The Rev Fr David Gwinner officiating.
