Obituary for E. Anita Morris

E. Anita Ranck Morris, age 94, of Columbus, passed away on January 15, 2024. She was born on October 30, 1929, and was the only child of the late Lester and Olive (Young) Ranck.

Anita was a lifelong resident of Columbus and Westerville and was currently a resident of Westerwood. She was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School and Otterbein University. She spent her early working life as a Lab Technician and went on to retire as a Science Teacher for Columbus City Schools.

Anita was an avid world traveler and connoisseur of delicious food (without preservatives) and enjoyed a nice glass of wine. She was a member for over 58 years at the Church of the Messiah in Westerville.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anita is survived by: Jim (Julie) Roudabush, Erin Roudabush, Kelly (Neamit) Patel and Kierin and Devin Patel, Barbara Hughes, Stan and Gayle Hughes and many cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: parents Olive and Lester Ranck and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Hill Funeral Home, 221 S. State Street, Westerville, where a Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon. A private burial will be held at Glen Rest Cemetery.
