Timothy Wildermuth Obituary - Hill Funeral Home

Arrangements

Visitation will be held at HILL FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 10am - 11am. A service will follow at 11am. Tim was a raving Buckeye, so we invite you to show your team spirit by wearing scarlet and gray.

Although deeply saddened by this news, I am glad to read in this obituary about all the things that Tim has done, and accomplished, and created. What an amazing person, with many talents. Several of his wood-working creations grace our home, and they will be especially meaningful now. Rest In Peace, Uncle Tim.

Obituary for Timothy Wildermuth

Timothy Wildermuth 1949-2023

Timothy Wildermuth

12/04/1949 - 10/01/2023

Timothy Jon Wildermuth passed peacefully at home the evening of October 1st, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Evelyn and Max Wildermuth, brother Walter Wildermuth, and niece Gracie MacKay. He is survived by his sister Jayne (Wildermuth) Mackay, devoted wife of 44 years, Dona (Templeton) Wildermuth, two blessed sons Justin (Julie) and Robert (Jacqueline) Wildermuth and 4 lively grandsons Walter, Rocco, Calder, and Beck.

Born in 1949 and raised in Bryan, Ohio to an Agriculturalist (i.e., farm boy), Tim was a born animal lover, craftsman, and master gardener. He dedicated his earlier years to work on family farms and participating in the Black Horse Troop at Culver Military Academy. As a graduate of The Ohio State University, like his father, he was an avid Buckeye fan. He was able to combine his education and knowledge of farming into a successful 40-year career at CNH Industrial.

Tim had a passion for movies, wine, and leftovers. He enjoyed his retirement as a woodworking sculpture artist and loved to create pieces for his four grandsons. When his oldest grandson was informed of his passing he asked, “But who will make all the stuff out of wood?” He never met a broken toy or household problem he couldn’t fix. In addition to his artistry, Tim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He took great pride in his home, his family, and the resemblance to himself he saw in his beautiful grandchildren. When Tim was complimented on how good looking his grandchildren were, he would often remark, “That’s because they look like me.”
