Obituary for Liselotte Carano

Liselotte M. (Dehn) Carano passed away peacefully in Lewis Center, Ohio on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 after battling a very long illness.

Liselotte was born in Kitzingen, Germany on April 26, 1942 to Anna and Martin Dehn. She was one of 11 children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Nick, and 5 brothers.  She is survived by her children Michael Carano (Diane) and Christine Oswald (John); grandchildren Sarah, Brian and Alex; great grandchild Harlan; sisters Elfriede, Beate, Christine and Helga, brother Wolfgang, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was extremely active until she became ill.  She loved life, travel, crafting, and quilting.  There was no problem she could not figure out.  She will be deeply missed by all of her family.

 There will be no visitation hours.  A private graveside burial with immediate family will be held at the Blendon Township Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Liselotte’s name to the National Ataxia Association https://www.ataxia.org/donate/.
