Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Thursday at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville OH 43081. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM – 3:00PM. Interment will be at 1:00PM Friday at the Crown Hill Burial Park, 3966 Warren – Sharon Road, Vienna OH 44473.

Nestor David Lambermont

Nestor David Lambermont, 89, passed away in Delaware Ohio on March 11, 2022.  He was born on January 19, 1933, in Punxsutawney PA.

He attended Punxsutawney High School before joining the US Army. He served in the 229th Field Artillery Battalion of the 28th Army Division from 1950 – 1952.

After his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked as a salesman at Brown’s Boot shop in Punxsutawney before moving to Warren Ohio in 1955. He was a steelworker for 41 years, beginning at Republic Steel and later retiring from WCI Steel in 1996.

He loved to breed and race homing pigeons. He was the secretary of the Warren Racing Pigeon club and the Western Reserve Pigeon club for many years.

In his younger years, he liked to hunt and fish and do taxidermy work. He also loved to travel. He and his beloved wife of 38 years, Carolyn, went on many bus trips all over the country.

He was a long-time member of the Tod Avenue Methodist Church in Warren.

He is survived by one son, David (Rachel) Lambermont of Lewis Center OH, one daughter, Patricia Fishman of Titusville FL; one stepdaughter, Denise Kalman of Warren OH; one stepson, Dennis (April) Guerrero of Farrell PA; one sister, Kay O'Brien of Dublin OH; one brother, Richard (Linda) Lambermont of Englewood FL; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Aundria, Stephanie, Cassandra, Jessica, Jeremy, and Owen; five great grandchildren, Kellyn, Jasmine, Journey, Jameson and Jean. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Geneva Lambermont; his wife Carolyn Lambermont; his sisters Jane Smith and Dorothy Bishop; his brother Robert Lambermont; his stepson Darren; and his grandson Daniel.
