Christine Diane Schuler of Westerville, Ohio died peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family on December 14, 2019. She was a graduate from Westerville High School in 1972. Then she was in the dental field for over thirty years and loved dearly by all of her patients. Christine loved playing cards, Hallmark movies, amaretto sours, anything and everything Christmas, and dancing. Her determination and will to fight was an inspiration. She was strong, brave, courageous, beautiful, bold and a warrior. In life and in death.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents (Charles and Patricia Perkins). She is survived by her husband, Blair of 46 years, son Robert (Scarlett) Schuler and daughters Michelle (Todd) Wright and Victoria (Derek) Priestas. Christine has 8 grandchildren (Brendan, Alisa, Cody, Payton, Lainey, Broderick, Beckett and Macallister) and 4 great grandchildren (Skieghlyn, Braxton, Avery, and Colton). In addition, she is also survived by her brothers and sisters; John Perkins, Nancy Ferla, Cheryl Perkins, Jerry Perkins, Mary Jane Keleher, and Rick Perkins. Christine was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to everyone.
Christine’s love for her family and friends was unconditional. She was a woman of great character and a role model to all. Her outgoing personality drew others in. She didn’t know a stranger no matter where she was and she would give everything she had to help someone in need.
Christine’s life was cut way too short because of many health issues. The worst of which was rheumatoid arthritis. It eventually crippled her body and battered her spirit. This prevented her from living life the way she wanted and deserved. Please help others from enduring this same pain. In lieu of flowers, financial donations can be made to the Arthritis National Research Foundation in memory of our mother. The website is curearthritis.org
Mom, on earth and in heaven… we love you to the moon and back.
