Obituary for Patricia Beeman

Patricia Jane Beeman peacefully passed away on March 6, 2024, at her home in Westerville, OH at the age of 78. Pat is survived by her spouse of 56 years, David, daughter Jennifer (Matthew), and two grandchildren, Jonathan, and Benson. She was predeceased by her parents Wilbert and Esther Rohrer. Pat was born and raised in Marietta, blessed with lifelong and treasured friendships. Pat received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University in 1967 and a master’s in education in 1988 also from OU. Pat taught Special Education with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities in both West Virginia and at Hamilton Local Middle School in Ohio. In addition to her passion as an educator, Pat participated in a variety of church activities through the years. She loved reading, gardening, traveling, entertaining, and working out with her friends at her Parkinson’s exercise group at PD Next Steps. Pat especially loved quilting, combining her talent for piecing with her mother’s cross stitch designs. Pat lovingly created numerous baby quilts for family and friends.

There will be visitation for the Beeman family on Monday, March 11^th, at 9:00am to 11:00am, services starting at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville located at 41 West College Avenue, Westerville, Ohio.
