Arno Weddendorf

Arno Weddendorf, aged 97, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024. Arno lived a life filled with happiness. He and Shirly were married for 58 years.  He retired from Mettler Toledo after 38 years of service.  From the moment he retired it was rare to see Arno or Shirley by themselves.  They spent many happy years traveling to Florida and places around the U.S.  They loved to attend car shows and were so proud to show the many cars that he restored.

Arno had many hobbies including rebuilding antique cars, riding his motorcycle, flying R/C airplanes, and was a proud member of the Westerville Warriors Go-Cart Racing Club

Arno is preceded in death by his loving wife Shirly and his sister Inez McGrury He is survived by his daughter, Linda Reel (Tom), and son, John Weddendorf (Karen). He leaves behind grandchildren: Melissa Wright, Andrew Reel, Nicholas Reel, Erin Mutters and Scott Weddendorf. His great-grandchildren, Jacob, Katelyn, Jackson, Lillian, Leila, Kiran, and Julia will continue to carry his memory forward.
