John Robert Skripac, 70, of passed away on Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 after an extended illness.
John was born May 20, 1948 in Youngstown and graduated from North High School in Youngstown and later from National Camera Institute in Denver, CO. He served his county in the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. John worked for 26 years as a locksmith for Stewart Security in Worthington, OH having previously worked in retail lumber (Hugh M. Woods) in Denver and for Conrail in Ypsilanti, MI.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda (McDougal) Skippack, his daughter, Alexandra Eikleberry; grandchildren, Rory and Niklaus Eikleberry; sister, Susan Skripac and brother, James Skripac. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (Lenches) Skripac, and brothers, Steven and Joseph Skripac.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial celebration on Saturday, Sept. 22nd from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH. Interment will follow in Canaan Cemetery with Military Honors.
