Obituary for Robert M. Davis

Robert M. Davis, 74 of Galena, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was a proud 1960 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. He was a communications officer with the Ohio Highway Patrol (1966-1973) and a dispatcher, instructor and trainer with the Columbus Police Department (1973-2001). Member of the Association of Retired Police Officers of Central Ohio, Capital City Corvette Club and a life-long dog lover.. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Lou; sons, Robert J. (Stacie) and Nicholas J.; grandchildren, Abigail and Madison; brother, John (Joellen) and cousins, nephews and nieces. Friends may call 4 to 7 PM Thursday at HILL FUNERAL HOME 220, S. State St., Westerville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Friday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9633 E State Route 37, Sunbury, OH . Rev. Fr. David Sizemore Celebrant.
