Obituary for Norma McBee

Norma Olofson Sanders Brenda McBee, 86, passed onto a better life on October 18, 2023, at Kobacker House with family at her side. She was born August 31, 1937, educated, and was married in Ketchikean, Alaska, territory of the United States. She was a Tsimshian and Tligit tribes.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Olofson and Josephine Stack Olofson, her brothers Jack, Norman, Wally Olofson and Richard Barricklow. Also, June, Evelyne, and Florence Olofson.

Also, former husband Warner Sanders of Richmond, Ohio, Gust Brenda of Weirton, West Virginia, and John McBee of New Albany. Also preceded in death are daughters Melanie Sanders Coachman (Ernie), and Cari Sanders Barnhart (Mike), and son-in-law Michael Giles.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Giles of Gahanna, and Kathleen McKindles (Tim) of St. James, Florida, Clint (Barbara) Sanders of Richmond, Ohio and James (Traci) Sanders of New Albany, Ohio. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for Hill Funeral Home of Westerville, Ohio, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, 10-11am prior to the service. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Galloway Cemetery along with her husband John, and their furbabies Molly, Sophie and Bear, time to be determined.
