Obituary for Ruby Koenig

Ruby Koenig of Westerville Ohio died peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on October 9, 2023, due to natural age-related illnesses. She was a high school graduate and worked until her retirement from the state of Ohio Rehabilitation Service.

She is survived by her sons, Michael and Jeffery, daughter Michele and grandchildren, Nicole and Matthew, great grand- children Lucy, Scarlet and Blake. Ruby grew up in Southern Ohio and after graduating high school moved to Columbus Ohio to work until her husband returned from his term of service to his Country. Ruby was known for her kind and gentle spirit and was a devoted wife and mother. Ruby and her late husband late husband Joseph Koenig were members of Ascension Lutheran Church of Columbus Ohio since the early 1960’s When no longer able to attend in person, Ruby enjoyed watching Hour of Power and Hillard Rock City Church services on television. Funeral services will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081 on Tuesday October 17^th immediately following a visitation time for friends and family which will be from 2:00pm to 3:30 PM.
