Obituary for Robert Byrley

Robert (Bob) Thomas Byrley passed away September 4, 2023 at his home. Bob was born in New London, Ohio on August 23, 1942. He is preceded in death by his son Christopher Lawrence and his parents Rita (Mullaly) and Robert Lawrence Byrley. He is survived by his wife Betty Lou, his daughter Toni Lea (Daryl) Smith, and grandson Dalton Lee and daughter Jamee (Sean) Smith and grandchildren Carson, Justin and Jillian.  Daughter-in-law Jeanne (Christopher) Byrley of Cleveland, OH, grandaughter Morgan Byrley of Tampa, FL, stepdaughter Kimberly Chance of Ashland OH, grandsons Curt Humrichouser of Dublin Ohio, Ryan of Ashland Ohio, Cole, Taylor and great granddaughter Oaklynn Grace of Wooster, Ohio and grandson Ross of Ashland. Stepdaughter Jennifer (David) Morr of Ashland, Ohio. Grandson Addison (Breanna) Morr of Ashland, granddaughter Lindsey Plushnik and great granddaughters Audrey and Alice of Ashland, Ohio. Granddaughter Lauren (Brock) Weaver of Westerville, Ohio and granddaughter Julia (Caleb) Hawley of Columbus, Ohio.

Brother William (Mary) Byrley of Columbus, Ohio, sister Janet Samuels of Delaware, Ohio, sister Lynn (Ken) Corns of Pickerington, Ohio. Also, several Nieces and Nephews and great nieces and great nephews. 

Bob was a graduate of Franklin University, and a retiree of Alcatel Lucent Technologies and Cheryl's Cookies. He enjoyed his grandchildren, traveling and loved DISNEY. A favorite pastime was searching for his ancestries and his heritage. 

 

Visitation will take place Sunday, September 10th, 2023, from 1 to 4 PM at the Hill Funeral Home 220 S. State St. Westerville, OH 43081. A Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 18^th, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Church 313 N. State St. Westerville, OH 43082.
