Obituary for Donald Wiggins

Donald A. Wiggins, Sr. passed away peacefully Sunday, July 30th at home surrounded by his  family.  He was born September 24, 1931 to Arthur and Marguerite Wiggins in Warsaw, Ohio. A veteran of the United States Navy he, retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of service.

 

He is survived by his wife of 72 years Pat, sons Donald  Jr. and his wife special daughter-in-law Marilyn, Ron and wife Kay Davis. Also surviving are his grandchildren Jason, (Jenny), Ryan (Libby), Joseph (Toni), and Sydney Budendorf (Drew),  great grandchildren Jackie, Lucy, Ryan Paul, Alice, Leor, Noa and Rylee.  Also surviving  is his sister Clara Herrick and several nieces and nephews.

 

His greatest joy in life was his family, always working long hard hours to make sure they were provided for. He was never short on offering advice on how things could be better.  He loved his farm and being on his tractor mowing always making sure the place was up to his standard.  He has definitely left a legacy for all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at HILL FUNERAL HOME from 4-7pm. A service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at HILL FUNERAL HOME at 10am.
