Obituary for Ricky Lynch

On Saturday, May 15, 2021, Ricky Allen Lynch, loving brother, uncle and friend, unexpectedly passed away at age 68.

 

Rick was born on August 10, 1952, in Charleston, West Virginia to Donald and Betty Ann Lynch. He moved to Westerville, Ohio with his family at the age of nine. He grew up in Huber Ridge and graduated from Westerville High School in 1970.

 

Rick enjoyed taking care of his beloved cats, collecting silver and coins, and drinking his coffee black. He was a diehard sports fan, a lifelong West Virginia Mountaineer fan and enjoyed annual visits to the dog track. Rick will be remembered for his kind and compassionate spirit. 

 

Rick is preceded in death by his father, Donald, and his mother, Betty Ann. He is survived by his brother Terry (Linda), his nieces Kelly (Brad) Schick and Christy (Joshua) Lynch and life-long friends.

 

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th, 2021 from 12:00-1:30pm at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St.Westerville followed by a grave side service at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6330 S Hempstead Rd, Westerville, OH 43081.
