James Lawrence Wood, 77, passed away on September 22, 2023. James was born on October 6th 1945 in DelawareCounty, Ohio to Virgil and Edna (Davis) Wood.

He married the love of his life, Dianna, in 1970 and spent 52 long happy years with her. They loved to travel and go on cruises. They had 2 children, Jim and Kim, and grandchildren that he loved to spend his time with hunting, fishing, camping and taking trips. He was very active in the Masonic Lodge. 
He attended church services at Northeast Baptist. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Edna Wood, his wife Dianna Wood and daughter-in-law Danika Wood. He is survived by his loving children James T (Josie) Wood, Kimberly (James) Jude and grandchildren Brandon Wood Merchant and Madison Jude and sister in law Sue Wheeler. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 28th 2023 at 10:00 am with the service to follow at 11:00am located at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State St., Westerville, OH 43081.
