Obituary for Raymond Clark

Raymond Herl Clark Sr. Went home to the Lord March 10, 2023. He was born in Tazwell, VA to the late Evans and Jean Clark. Raymond loved his family more than anything in life. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend you could ever hope for.

Raymond has had many jobs in his lifetime, he’s been the Bakery Manager at Big Bear, a mechanic, a construction worker, and a dump truck driver for Lama Trucking. He loved to hunt, fish, and sweep the chips at a poker table. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be so deeply missed by all. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary Clark, loving partner Patricia Whitaker, sisters Helen Hogle, Audrey Clark, Delaina Neece, and brother Luther Clark. He is survived by his children Amy (Rod) Knapp, Ray (Joyce) Clark, Lori Clark, Lisa (Chad) Rethorford, Brenda (Joe) Tepper and Carolyn Clark, his 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and his sister Norma Innis.

Services will be held at Hill Funeral Home in Westerville, OH on Tuesday March 14th. Calling hours are from 10am-12pm, service will follow after with interment to follow at Blendon Cemetery. Pastor James Meacham (Officiating).
