Friends and family may call on Monday, February 20, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m at Hill Funeral Home.  A service will be held at Hill Funeral Home at 12:00 noon on Tuesday February 21 with burial immediately following at Blendon Cemetery.

Victor A Timler Sr. passed away on Valentine’s Day February 14th, 2023.  Victor was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was proceeded in death by his parents Ewald L. Timler and Clementine B. Zoromski. 

 

Victor grew up in Schofield, Wisconsin and was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and watching the Green Bay Packers football.  After attending the University of Wisconsin, Victor entered the US Air Force in 1952.  He graduated from Officers Training School and served his country as a career military officer as a B-52 pilot.  He received multiple medal awards and decorations to include the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service in the Viet Nam War.  

 

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Victor graduated from The Ohio State University in Industrial Arts.  He purchased and rehabbed rental properties during his retirement years. 

 

Victor was married to Virginia L. Bell from 1956 until her passing in 2008. 

He is survived by daughter Kimberly L. Timler (Michael Cheadle), son Victor A. Timler (Christine Ceresna Timler), and son Todd A. Timler, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  

 

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.   He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
