In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deidre Anne Coleman.

A graduate of Thomas Proctor High School in Utica, New York, and of Albany State Teachers College (now SUNY-Albany) in New York, Mary Lou was a teacher in Marblehead, Massachusetts and a substitute teacher with The Columbus Public School District; later, she became a longtime employee of Ross Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio.

Mary Lou is survived by daughters Tracey Coleman Pikos (Anthony), of Upper St Clair, PA, and Heather Coleman Shremshock (Patrick), of Russellville, AL; by grandchildren Thomas and Nicole Coleman, and John Hunt; Jacob and Elizabeth Shremshock; and Alex Pikos. Also surviving are brothers William Eisenman (Mary Sue); David Eisenman (Elaine); and Thomas Eisenman (Mari); as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

Mary Lou loved reading, films, cooking, and baking, and she helped found and formerly served on the board of Redeemer Moravian Church in Dublin, Ohio. She loved Easter sunrise and Christmas Eve services, love feasts, brass bands, and the history and traditions of her church.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Moravian charities and causes close to Mary Lou’s heart, such as The Linden Hall School for Girls (https://www.lindenhall.org/about-linden-hall), or The Moravian Music Foundation (https://moravianmusic.org).
