Lawrence Henry Stember, Jr., who resided most of his life in Westerville, Ohio, passed peacefully with family by his side, Monday, March 8, 2021.  He was 90 years old and was born July 31, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio.

He is survived by his daughter Shauna Suzanne (Mark) Williams, his son Anthony Patrick (Victoria) Stember, and his brother, David (Shar) Stember.  He has five living grandchildren, as well as many other Stember relatives.

Married 49 years to his lovely wife, the late Frances Joan-Jo Stember, his two sons, Michael Lawrence Stember and Timothy David Stember, and preceded by his brother, the late John Stember, his sister, Mary Patricia Wampler, and one grandson.

Larry was a 1948 graduate of St. Charles Preparatory School.  He received an Electrical Engineering degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the Ohio State University.  He was employed with Battelle Memorial Institute for over 62 years and a member of many professional organizations. Larry was active throughout his life with his church, St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio.  He committed over 71 years of service to the Knights of Columbus.  He volunteered in many groups serving his church and also attended a weekly scripture-based faith-sharing group.  He was a loving family member to his sister-in-law at Wesley Glen, visiting and playing scrabble for many years.  His passions included spending quality time with his family, golfing, fishing, camping, reading history, and religious literature.  He also was a fanatic college football fan of his beloved alma maters.  He will be dearly missed.
