 Graveside Services will be hld at 3 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Northlawn Memory Gardens with Military Honors. 

So sorry to hear about our family loss. Uncle Jim was so good to me as a youngster. We spent many good times together fishing. He was a wonderful uncle and I morn his passing.

James Marvin (Jim) Taylor of Westerville, OH passed from this life on Feb.22,2021 at age 88.

He was born Nov. 20, 1932 in Huntsville, MO to Edgar and Elizabeth Taylor. He was the youngest and last surviving of seven children. Following graduation from high school in 1950, he enlisted in the Navy and traveled the world while serving as a radio operator. He married the former Jennie Nell Bagby on June 19, 1955. He was employed by the Norfolk Southern RR and retired after working his way up to the title of Division Road Foreman of Engines. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: James Michael (Mike) and wife LeeAnn, Sherry (Steve) Sberna, and Melinda Swan (Dave); four granddaughters: Kimberly (Marty) Minrovic, Katie Barker, Stephanie (David) Buckley, and Jillian Taylor; six beloved great grandchildren, brothers and sister in law, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, mother and father in law, and granddaughters Dana Taylor and Bonnie Lirtzman.

Graveside services are to be held Thursday, Feb. 25th at three o'clock at Northlawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations in his memory can be made to Columbus Urban League, www.cul.org or the donors favorite charity.
