 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CALLING HOURS: Due to Covid 19, EVERYONE wishing to attend calling hours MUST call HILL FUNERAL HOME at 614-882-2121 between 8:30 and 5 pm to reserve one of the 25 visiting slots per half hour starting at 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2020. Masks are mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS. Only 25 registered people will be permitted in the building at a time. The family will hold a private liturgy outside of Mass at 5:30. It will be live streamed via this YouTube link. 
 

 

Shirley you were my favorite sister and second mother. I love you so much. Thank you for everything you done for me. Please give hugs and kisses to mom and dad. I will miss you

Shirley Lewis (Halcik) devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on December 6, 2020.  Shirley was devoted to her large family including six children, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was a devout Catholic her entire life.  Shirley’s favorite pastime was bowling with her husband.  She ran a daycare and has touched the lives of many families over the years.  Shirley is remembered best by her family and friends for her loving heart, warm home and fiery nature.  She will be greatly missed by all those who have met her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Anne, sister in law, Dottie Halcik, and Brother in law, Carl Lewis. 
Shirley leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 years Bob.  She also leaves behind three bothers Bob, Gary (Karen), and Rich (Mary Jo).  She is survived by her children Terrie Lewis, Sharon (John) Gammon, Bob (Carita) Lewis, Sue Miderski, Tim (Amy) Lewis and Tom Lewis.  She is survived by her grandchildren Christine Braun, Josh (Jaime) Gammon, Cassie Gammon, Andrew (Rachelle) Miderski, Arianne (Joe) Milligan, Alexandria Miderski, Sydney Lewis, Reyce Lewis and Luke Long.  Shirley was blessed with five great grandchildren; Anthony and Olivia Braun, Scarlett Milligan, Juliet and Corvo Miderski.
