Condolence: I have many fond memories of Irma and am so glad we developed a deeper friendship after my mom and dad (Marty and Lou) passed. Irma loved each of you and I looked forward to updates- from weddings and births to Gail's kittys and Abby's teaching and moving...I feel I know you and will miss talking to her. Irma had a special way about her and took an interest in others. How wonderful to have lived 92 years! I plan to make her Rouladen next week in memory of her. May God give you strength and comfort and many cherished memories. Love, Ann

Condolence From: Sid and Bonnie Townsend, Minerva Park, Ohio
Condolence: Our condolences to your family. Irma loved her family! When she talked about each of you, she was so full of joy, love, and pride. May her love help comfort you in your loss.
Irma became a close friend when I joined her on her morning walks several years ago. I had watched her walk by my house every day, rain or shine, in cold or hot weather and at a pace I could barely keep up with. During these walks she shared memories about her early childhood, her friends from Dayton, life with “James” and much about her children and grandchildren. We had a special bond when it came to talking about our granddaughters. We both had grandsons but there was just something special about our granddaughters, my Julie and her Abby.
Irma comforted me through some of my difficult times and celebrated happy occasions with me and my family. She gave me encouragement, guidance, friendship and love as well as a beautiful little tea cup and saucer which I will cherish forever.
Until we meet in heaven, goodbye my sweet friend…you are always in my heart.
Sid and Bonnie Townsend

Condolence: Irma always had a smile on her face, always eager to have a quick chat when our paths would cross while we were both out walking in beautiful Minerva Park. I still smile when I walk past her old house. She will be missed by many I'm sure. My condolences to her family.
