Obituary for Jerry Goslin

Gerald Edward Goslin III age 32 of Columbus Ohio went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 28, 2020.

“Jerry” as his friends and family knew him was born November 27, 1987 in Travers City, MI to Gerald E Goslin Jr and Deborah Wolfe-Goslin. He spent 2 years of his life there, and then the family relocated back to his mother’s hometown Columbus, Ohio. In 1999 Jerry and his mother built a house in Hilliard, and Jerry was so excited to call Hilliard his home. During his teen years Jerry wanted to spend more time with his Dad so he decided to move to Michigan. Jerry and his dad Jerry Jr formed great memories while he was in Michigan. Jerry III enjoyed riding on the wave runner with his dad, fishing, camping, and Riding BMX Bikes where he won several trophies. He also loved his Dad’s family his great grandmother Joanne, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jerry moved back to Columbus, and married his long time love, Sara (Skkye) Hamilton on December 26th. The Highlight of his Marriage to Sara were his two Sons his namesake Gerald E. Goslin IV (JEG) and his youngest Son Legion Rayne Goslin (Lee).

Jerry is preceded in death by his Father Gerald E. Goslin (Jerry) Jr. Whose ashes will be buried along with his Son’s. Jerry III Was also preceded in death by his Grandmother Phyllis J. Wolfe, His Grandfather Jimmie D. Wolfe, His Grandfather Gerald E. Goslin Sr., and his Uncle John Yoder.

He is survived by his wife Sara Goslin, his sons Gerald E. Goslin IV (JEG), Legion Rayne Goslin (Lee), mother Deborah (Ben) Spears, Mother-in-law Carla Hamilton, his Aunt Pam Wolfe, Uncle Todd (Debbie) Goslin, Uncle Tim Goslin, Aunt Terri Goslin – Jones (Bob Jones) and his cousins Michael Anderson(Brandi), Patrick Anderson (Jasmine), Kaitlyn Schultz (Richard), Thomas Goslin(Lauren), and Jillian Goslin, Matthew Jones and Bobby Jones. He also is survived by his Best friends, Christina (Michael) Dew, Justin Small, Garrett Gunderson (Natalie), Tara McCoy and Samantha Wilson, Jerry’s big heart, his infectious Smile, and his magnetic personality, as well as his free spirit will be forever missed. He will be in our Hearts forever.

His interment will be at Blendon Township cemetery with a private service of just family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
