Obituary for Wilma Jo Watson

Wilma Jo Watson (Downs), age 86, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 19, 2020 at St. Ann’s Hospital.

She was born December 23, 1933 in Washington, Court House. Wilma graduated from Central High School and enjoyed reading, church and valued time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, father, William Downs, mother, Thelma Downs (Forsythe), brother, David Downs, grandson, Adam J. Taggart and loving husband Roy L. Watson. Roy and Wilma were married for over 49 years before his passing. She is survived by her sister Edna Downs and son David Downs; children Barbara S. Fisher, spouse Richard S. Fisher, William R. Watson, and Cathy J. Wood, spouse Roger Wood; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly J. Ruholt (Taggart), Cindy A. Madl (Fisher), Douglas R. Fisher, William J. Taggart, Jennifer L. Ward (Taggart) and Kyle Bradley Watson and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services for Immediate Family will be held 10:00AM Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St. Westerville OH. 43081. Service will be live streamed on the Hill funeral home Youtube Channel.
