Obituary for Cynthia "Sue" Wyatt

Cynthia "Sue" Wyatt 1947-2020

Cynthia "Sue" Wyatt

02/25/1947 - 03/24/2020

(Cynthia) Sue Wyatt, Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Shadyside, Ohio, died March 24, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John R. Wyatt, and her parents, Newell "Peck" Dunning and Genevieve (Diehl) Dunning.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Westerville.

She was a graduate of Ohio University and worked as a teacher of children with special needs, whom she dearly loved. After becoming a mother herself, she eventually left her full-time teaching career and dedicated herself to raising her two children. She worked from home, running several home businesses, and demonstrated a strong work ethic to everyone around her.

She loved a kitchen full of people cooking together and deeply valued family dinners around the table. She enjoyed holidays and sharing traditions with her family, spending time outside gardening, and watching the birds at her bird feeder. She loved nature and creating art, and the simple things in life brought her immense joy.

She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all who love her. Sue is survived by her sister Dewetta Miller and husband Jim Miller, her brother Herb Dunning, her son John C. Wyatt and wife Lori Wyatt, her daughter Megan E. Wyatt and husband Zeyad Ramadan, her five grandchildren, Aisha, Bilal, Shannon, Aaliyah, and Hamza, her niece Laura Bennington and husband Mark Bennington, her niece Stacey Livingston and husband Tom Livingston, and their son Lance Livingston, and her nephew Greg Dunning and wife Laura Dunning.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus funeral restrictions, there will not be a public visitation time or memorial service held. Please keep Sue and her family in your prayers.
