Beverly Guevin Obituary - Hill Funeral Home

Arrangements

Friends may call 2 to 4 PM Sunday, January 12, 2020 HILL FUNERAL HOME.  Mass at 10:30 AM Monday, January 13, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant, immediately followed by a luncheon for friends and family.

I knew Paul and Bev for the better part of 30 years (perhaps a bit longer) and found them to be good, kind, compassionate individuals whose Christian faith supported them through good times and bad. They were always happy to serve as champions and defenders of Christ, and willingly shared their faith with all who were seeking insight into the Catholic Faith. Paul has been greatly missed these past several years, and we will all miss Bev just as much, but will take comfort in the fact that she is with the Lord, her God, in whom she believed so deeply, and whose colors she so proudly nailed to the mast.

Beverly Guevin

03/26/1937 - 01/07/2020

Beverly Ann (Wieler) Guevin, 82 of Westerville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at her home. Long time parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church, Bev was delighted to share her Catholic faith and knowledge in any way she could. She served as a teacher in St. Paul's Parish School of Religion (PSR), and over many years she served on teams to bring the Kairos Prison Ministry to women in central Ohio prisons. As a member of St. Paul's parish, she was involved in many ways beyond PSR, as an extraordinary Eucharistic minister, in the folk group, on the funeral luncheon team, and in the parish Women's group. Throughout her adult life, she worked as a secretary/administrative assistant for many employers, big and small, ultimately retiring from the OSU Medical Center's CME office in 2001.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances (Maher) Wieler, and loving husband of 52 years, Paul Guevin, Jr. She is survived by two sons, Paul, III (Sheila), and John "Max Ink" (Flor), and daughter, Ann Bostic; four grandchildren, Gabrielle "Gigi" Fournier, Ashley (Tyler) Davis, Matthew Bostic and Aaron Fournier; one great-grandchild, Logan Davis; one sister, Barbara Marchand; cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
