Condolences

Condolence From: Kenneth Michaels, New York, NY
Condolence: I just heard about this news and send my condolences to Ginger and the entire family. I am simply heartbroken and can't even imagine the sense of loss for the family and friends. Mark worked for me for several years while I was in McGraw-Hill in one of my roles in the Education Segment. It was a relationship I cherished through the years with periodic touch-bases on how life was treating each other. He above all else loved his family and was dedicated to adding value in everything and everyone he touched. Not afraid to take on challenges, he was often sought after by many employees seeking mentorship and level-headed guidance. A true role model for passion and commitment - he helped transform McGraw-Hill in many ways into one of the most prominent in it's sector by fixing, improving, and innovating in many areas of service and execution. It's been many years since we worked alongside each other but the impact he has made in many lives and mine will always be cherished. God's peace and love always Mark and know that I think of you often.

Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences to the Fletcher Family. I had the opportunity to work for Mark as a Consultant for many years in LexisNexis. This news is very shocking as it feels like yesterday when we sent him best wishes for his Lexis Nexis Farewell and the last conversation I had with him in his corner office in Dayton☹ He was a great man and an amazing leader and a great Mentor. I’m really sorry for your loss and May God give strength to his near and dear in this difficult time. Please know that Mark Fletcher will be celebrated and remembered by many- Sahaja

Condolence: Mark hired me at BWC and I'll always remember my interview. I don't think he asked me anything about IT but told me the fun he'd had the night before with fellow co-workers singing karaoke. I was sold! He expected us to work hard but we had so much fun doing it. I even used his tree company knowing he was in charge. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: Linda Johnson, Columbus, OH
Condolence: I had the pleasure of working for Mark at McGraw-Hill. He was a true LEADER, not a boss or manager. He had the rare ability to motivate and bring teams together to accomplish common goals. He believed in me and my abilities even when I found it hard to believe in myself. It was an honor and pleasure when Mark and Ginger were guests at my surprise retirement dinner a few years ago. My sincere condolences to Ginger and the rest of Mark's family. He will truly be missed.
