A. Kevin Culp was born in Springfield, Ohio, on August 21, 1960 and died on November 7, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 58. Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and computer science from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1982. He received his Master of Science from The Ohio State University in 1984. He was most recently employed with Pillar Technology.

Kevin was a long distance runner. He was very active in the Columbus lacrosse community with Old Dogs Lacrosse Columbus (K-Dog 1), Ohio Wesleyan Legends and as a referee with COLOA (Central Ohio Lacrosse Official Association).

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy (Leonard) Culp and sons, Alex Culp and Ian Culp, Lewis Center, OH; parents, Kent and Hannah (Lego) Culp, North Lewisburg, OH; brother Todd Culp (Tammy), Albuquerque, NM; brother Scott Culp (Cecile), Seattle, WA; sister Kristy (Culp) Talbot (Dan), North Lewisburg, OH; brother Pat Culp (Ann), North Lewisburg, OH; and 11 nephews.

Visitation will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State Street, Westerville, Ohio, Monday, November 12, 2018, from 5:30-7:00pm followed by amemorial service at the funeral home beginning at 7:00pm. Reverend Malcolm Davis of Central College Presbyterian Church, officiating. Private interment.

The Culp family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Orange Township Fire/EMS, Delaware County Medics, Riverside Methodist Hospital fifth floor ICU Critical Care team, Ohio Health Pastoral Care Chaplains, Reverend Malcolm Davis and Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Heart Association.
