Obituary for Mary L. Shepherd

Mary Lealia Shepherd passed away on September 26, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Daughter of George and Viola Stevens of Roanoke Virginia, Mary was predeceased by husband Carl Mason Shepherd. Survivors include her son Dr. Larry Shepherd and daughter in law Laurie Shepherd of Westerville, daughter Melinda Dillon and son in law Estel Dillon of Herndon, Virginia. Grandchildren include Abby DeChant (husband Adam), Rob Shepherd (wife Rachel), Tom Shepherd, Stephen Dillon (wife Laura), and Katherine Dillon (husband Ben). Mary had one great grandchild, Olivia DeChant.

Originally from Roanoke Virginia, Mary Shepherd moved to the Columbus area in 2003. Her interests included antiquing and gardening.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 29 from 1pm to 2pm at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081. A service will follow at 2pm.
