Dorothy “Dottie” Evans left her 96 span of life to join her beloved husband, James Murray Evans, in their heavenly home on Oct. 10, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Emily and Harry Eberlein, step-father Arthur Krug, only sibling Lorraine Gale and her husband, Raymond Gale, and many friends in Florida, Nova Scotia, and Michigan. She was born on Sept. 21, 1918 in Chicago, IL. Survived by daughters Marcia E. (Carl) Johnson of Westerville and Lauren M. (Rick) Millspaugh.of Powell. Grandchildren Courtney Millspaugh and fiance Michael Moschetta of Powell, Kelly Millspaugh of Powell, Andrea and Mark Chidester of New Albany, Drew and Sarah Johnson of Cincinnati. Great grandchildren, Maren Elizabeth Chidester and James Andrew Johnson, and her beloved cat Jimmy. A special thank you to Danielle Antonaros and Charlie Vachris for their help and support with our mom. She retired from Goodwill Industries as Secretary to the Executive Director and managed the costume shop developed from public donations. A 60-year member of Beacon Chapter, Order of The Eastern Star, Florida Elks, Worthington Homemakers, former president of Goodwill Auxiliary, spent 21 winters in Port Richey, Fla., loved to travel, volunteer, read, dance and attend theaters.
