Obituary for Robert P. Woehrle

Robert “Bob” P. Woehrle, 67 years old, was called home to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, September 27. Bob was a kind, loving, gentle man to man, animals and yes, even most bugs. He was an avid reader. He was a Navy veteran with riverine forces in Viet Nam and served for four years. Bob was a long time member of Lamb of God Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a life member of VFW Post 7005 and the NRA. He was a highly valued employee for 26 years at Rage Corp. in Hilliard. Bob is the very much loved son of Norm and Jean Woehrle. In addition to his parents he is survived by his older brother, Bill (Seattle); nieces, nephews, cousins; and close long time Navy friend, Marco Borrell (San Antonio, TX); and five feline companions he called “my kids.” A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 11 at 3:00 PM at Lamb of God, 4925 Sunbury Rd, Columbus 43230.
