We were ‘64 graduates with Stacy and have great memories, even back to grade school at Orange. We were all neighbors as well, having grown up on Big Walnut Road and our dads were all employed at North American Rockwell. We are forever grateful for Stacy’s military service and our prayers are with his family.

Stacy Lee Hall, age 72, passed away peacefully at Riverside Hospital surrounded by family, Monday morning, 18June, 2018, after a long battle with congestive heart failure and diabetes. He was born 2 December, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Grant Forrest and Dorothy Marie (Reynolds) Hall. Stacy is survived by his sister Cynthia Hall Henderson (Craig), brother M. Kevin Hall (Susan), nephews Alex Henderson, Bradley Hall (Nicole), nieces Caitlin Henderson, Julie Hall Brotherton (Scott), great-nephew Grant Brotherton, and great nieces Tessa and Avery Brotherton. Stacy was a 1964 graduate of Olentangy High School, having been a 2-year varsity football player, scoring a touchdown in a victory over DeSales on a 25 yard reception during the successful 1963 season. He had his Thespian pin, having held the lead in his jr. and senior class plays and was also active in 4-H, being camp counselor at Camp Ohio. Stacy served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist 4/C, seeing combat in Quang Tri Province, South Viet Nam, as a mortar man and Forward Observer with the 5th Mechanized Infantry in 1968-69, returning home to finish his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education at The Ohio State University. Professionally Stacy worked as a claims Investigator for the Ohio Department of Insurance. He loved his family very much, often treating us to dinners at various restaurants and expressing this in the many gifts he thoughtfully provided through the years. He was loved and will be missed.
