So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories with Aunt Margie! I remember spending time with her several times. I appreciated the time and patience she spent when I went to a ceramics class with her and teaching me to cook at the Garden Inn. She was a great cook!

Marjorie L. Sebring Betts, age 90 of Blendon Township, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2018. She was born on January 25,1927 to Hazel Frances and John Henry Betts. She was the retired owner-operator of Speed's Garden Inn, and Aunt Netties Catering Service along with her husband, George G. Sebring {Speed} a WWII veteran and paratrooper and retired Lt. with Columbus Fire Department, who passed in 1987.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John Henry Betts and Hazel Frances Conway-Pruitt, husband, George G. Sebring, granddaughter, Kimberly Emmons, brother Jack Betts, son Wayne R. Sebring. Survived by brother Ronald S. Betts of Illinois. Survived by children, James S. Emmons, Steven L. Emmons, Tamara S.Clark, Michelle Y. Culp, Robin E. Sebring, niece, Kathleen Betts; grandchildren, Shane Emmons, Eric Emmons, Dillon Culp, Andrew Culp, Courtney Turner, Jordan Cortijo, Tommy Clark, Delta Clark, Kya Clark, Gregg Louis Sebring, Gabrielle Sebring; great grandchildren, Cameron Cortijo, Aleena Cortijo, Sy Emmons, Scarlet Emmons, Kennedy Turner, Gregg and Gabrielle Sebring.

She was a member of the Hole-In-The-Wall-Gang@Red Bird Stadium, and a 1943 graduate of Columbus Central High School at age 16. She was an avid Cleveland Indians Baseball Fan, amazing seamstress, amazing cook and ceramist. There was no better advice than Mom's.
