Obituary for Leonard Dill

Leonard P. Dill, 89, of Westerville, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 of injuries sustained in an auto accident in Delaware County. Born June 12, 1928 in Athens, Ohio and was the son of the late Lewis and Nellie Dill. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Darlene (Smith) Dill.

Leonard worked as a pressman for Duplex Printing and later for Delaware Gazette. He volunteered as an Auxiliary Police Officer for Westerville Police Department for 25 years. He was a devoted family man and loved hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Leonard (April) Dill, Terry (Tammy) Dill, Lonnie Dill, Rochelle (Rick) Yoke Dreama (Tim) Holtschulte; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren . He was preceded by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Fealey.
