C. Roger Rudduck born in Dayton, Ohio, April 28, 1936 passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the age of 81.

Roger received an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He received Masters of Science and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. In his 42-year career at OSU, he was a Professor of Electrical Engineering for 36 years and conducted research at the Electroscience Lab where he published several technical papers.

He was elected to the grade of Fellow in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. in 1990

. Roger is survived by his wife, Audrey Rudduck of nearly 60 years of marriage, son, Kevin R. Rudduck (Katie) of Dayton, OH and daughter, Beth J. Botts (Thomas) of Westerville, OH. He also leaves behind his beloved grand sons Colin Botts of Columbus, OH, Kolton Rudduck of Dayton, OH, Oliver Botts of Prescott, AZ and Konnor Rudduck of Wooster, OH.

He is also survived by brothers Jerome (Sue) Rudduck and Marc Rudduck of Dayton, OH, sister Karen (Don) McAllister of Ashland, OH, Brother-in-law Jack (Joan) Wendel of New Corydon, IN, brother-in-law Tom (Sharon) Ellsworth of Portland, IN, sister-in-law Linda Ellsworth of Portland, IN and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Roger had a full life with many cherished friends, adventuresome travels, and a strong loving church community. He was a member of Central College Presbyterian Church, where he faithfully served as a deacon, taught small groups, and served as Director of the Church Food Pantry.

He enjoyed many years as a member of the Westerville Promenaders Western Square Dance Club.

Memorial contributions in Roger’s honor may be made to the Central College Presbyterian Church Food Pantry.

Viewing hours are Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4pm-7pm at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville, OH 43081

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017, 11am at Central College Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, OH 43081.
