Obituary for Dennis R. Faulhaber

Dennis R. Faulhaber, age 70, of Centerburg, passed away after a battle with brain cancer on Friday July 14, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus on August 24, 1946, to Ada Louise & Harold Augustus who precede him. He is survived by Sandra Faulhaber (wife); Kimberly Leavitt  (daughter) and Orianna Hernandez (granddaughter) of MA;  Karen Stone (daughter), Raven Stone Gross & Kora Stone (granddaughters) of Westerville; Leah Royise (step-daughter), Lillian & Kayson Royise (step-grandchildren) of Columbus, and Bob Arnold of Columbus, loyal childhood friend.

Dennis was a member of Cub Scouts and later spent 27 years as a dedicated employee for Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) in Delaware as a heavy equipment mechanic. He volunteered as a fire fighter in Porter Township and donated his time to service the fire trucks. Dennis loved tinkering on his cars and would often help others with his mechanical expertise. He always had something dismantled, especially if it had a carburetor & he could usually be found in the barn cussing at various parts and tools. Anyone who knew Dennis could attest to his colorful language!

The family will receive friends at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville on Thurs. July 20 from 10-11:30am. Interment will immediately follow at Blendon Central.
