Obituary for George K. Eblin

George K. Eblin, age 65, of Gahanna passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 8, 2017. He was born in Columbus on April 1, 1952 to father, Clarence Eblin, and mother, Mary (Howell) Eblin. George was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. He always had a smile, wave, and "Hi!" for all his friends. His entire life he had a love for cars and motorcycles. Most nice days would find him outside tending his hostas, other flower beds, or drinking a cold beverage while relaxing. George lived his life believing in being a good person. Taken from us all too soon, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. George is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Eblin and best friend Tom G. DeLauder. He is survived by his son, John (Emily) Eblin; daughters, Erica (Stan Goings) Eblin, and Ginny (Harold) Conley; grandchildren, Mitchell Eblin, Jacob Eblin, Zoe Conley, Logan Eblin, Alayna Goings, Taryn Eblin, Ethan Goings, Rhyana Eblin, and Ryanne Goings; father, Clarence Eblin; brothers, Dale and Mike Eblin; sister, Gennetta (Randy) Williams; nephews, Troy Eblin, John Williams, and Andrew Eblin; niece, Tasha Rotermund; and various other extended family members. Celebration of George’s Life will take place at 2 PM Sunday, July 16, 2017 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville where family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
