Obituary for Betty Lou Bell

Betty Lou Bell 1924-2017

Betty Lou Bell

05/09/1924 - 05/18/2017

Betty Lou (Hill) Bell, 93, of Delaware passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her residence. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold; son, Steven; brother, Elward Hill and sister, Annie Gifford.  She is survived by sons: Marty (Chris), Daryl (Debbie), Dave (Jan), Don (Annie), Tom (Melissa), 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.   She will always be remembered as a faithful wife and loving mother and grandmother to her family. Betty was an accomplished cook, seamstress and quilter.  She finished her “race” well and passed on to heaven painless and peaceful.  Her faith in Jesus’ death on Calvary for her personal sins has paid for her admission into her eternal home in heaven.  She is now celebrating around God’s throne with other family members and friends who were also trusting in Jesus alone.  Today she is more alive than she has ever been and is beholding the face of her Beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ.  For, He said, “I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:3)  Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 AM Tuesday at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville.  A celebration-of-life service will begin at 11:00 followed by internment at Pioneer Cemetery, Westerville.  In lieu of flowers please contribute to your favorite charity or church in Betty’s name.
