Dear Jan, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Larry. He was such a nice man with a wonderful sense of humor. I remember stories you told us at work about him and stories he himself told at different social gatherings we were at. Please know that you and the girls and their families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Larry Dean Roland died, Sunday August 3, 2014 with his loving family by his side in Lutz, Florida. Larry never met a stranger. He loved people, Corvettes, golf, the Buckeyes and most of all he loved and cherished his family and friends. For those who knew Larry they know he gave generously of himself and his time to family and friends. He cared and felt deeply about his friendships with the members of the Capital City Corvette Club and their charity, The Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He was born in Sherman Kentucky on June 19, 1947 to the late James H. Roland and Juanita (Stewart) Roland. Survived and deeply mourned by his wife of 44 years, Janice (Weekes) Roland, daughters, Heather (Kevin) Gibson and Erika (Ryan) Reed; sister, Myra (Galusha) March; two precious granddaughters, Marley and Riley Gibson. Uncle Allen (Barbara) Stewart; Aunts Doris Hall, Mary (Clay) Crupper, Linda (Dwight) Harvey; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the owner-operator of Roland Architectural Products, LLC. Member of The Builders Exchange of Central Ohio and Ohio Structural Steel & Architectural Metals Association, Inc. Proud member of the Capital City Corvette Club, Bowling Green Assembly Plant Corvette Club and the Sun ‘N’ Fun Corvette Club. Larry was a Master Ambassador of the National Corvette Museum. Family will receive friends 2 to 5 PM Sunday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville.. The Rev. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
