Obituary for Richard H. Spurlock

Richard H Spurlock age 76 of Westerville, Ohio went to be with Our Lord on February 19 2017 at home. Richard was Born on April 29 1941 in Charleston West Virginia to the Late Thomas and Mildred (Harrison) Spurlock . Richard Married Donna E (Gray) Fahey on November 7 1992 In Worthington Ohio. Richard and Donna resided in Worthington, Ohio until 2015 when they moved to Westerville, Ohio. Richard grew up on his family farm in Albany, Ohio and lived in the area for many years until he moved to the Columbus area. Richard was a heating and cooling technician for many years and in turn taught the trade to many people. He also repaired medical equipment in the area. He ended his career as a maintenance man for several Apartment complexes in Columbus Ohio. Richard biggest hobby was repairing old radios and electronics in his spare time. His biggest hobby was talking on his Ham Radio to people around the world. When he was not doing those he tinkered around the house doing what needed to be done. Richard is survived by his wife Donna E. Fahey-Spurlock, brother Thomas and Sue Spurlock of Lake Worth Florida, four children - Kevin and Cindy (Fahey) Hill of Marion, Ohio, Kennan and Lianna Fahey of Indianapolis, Indiana , Brian and Aimee Fahey, Shawna (Fahey) and Eric Grosscup of Westerville, Ohio; niece Michele Spurlock-McGowan of Lake Worth; nephew Michael Spurlock of Ft. Lauderdale; and several grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, on February 23 2017 at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Westerville. The Rev. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center Ohio. No visitation will be held.
