Obituary for Marcia West

Marcia Rose (Werley) West, 65, passed away January 20, 2017. She was a graduate of Westerville High school and proudly continued the family legacy of graduating from The Ohio State University.  She was preceded in death by her adoring Dad, John Werley.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Jim West. Beautiful daughters: Christine Medley and Stephanie (Nate) Seeger. Beloved grandchildren: Charlotte and Devan Medley, Nathan Jr. and Cecilia Seeger.  Loving Mom: Olga Werley.  Affectionate brothers sister: Christopher Werley, Timothy Werley and Carol (Frank) Hill. Marcia's struggle to overcome decades long assaults on her health prevented her from enjoying the gladness day to day simple living that most of us take for granted. For anyone who knew and loved her,  Marcia leaves behind an enduring endowment of kindness, serenity, and generosity of spirit as well as an incandescent  example of patience and forbearance. She is most assuredly welcome into heaven as she has spent a lifetime surviving the afflictions of health on earth.  We welcome friends to call 4 to 7 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at The HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S.State St., Westerville.
