Condolence: I was utterly stunned and horribly saddened when I found out about Mark's passing. From the moment I met him in my 8th grade history class at Walnut Springs during my first year of teaching, I knew he was a unique and amazing individual. I remember that entire class because they were such a collection of talents and personalities. Mark relished in Monty Python-esqued humor - which helps explain why we got along so well, and his witty sense of humor was always good for a daily laugh. He generously donated to my classroom and left the most touching comment in the process. Mark left a mark on my early teaching career, as he did on the lives of so many. He will certainly be missed.

Condolence: Mark was a valuable part of our small group at church and we very much are going to miss the wisdom he brought to our conversations and his big personality that could make anyone laugh, regardless of the day we were having. I will always remember how Mark singled me out one night when he could tell I just wasn't myself and checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay. That's just the type of guy he was. He had such a big heart and the love he had for the people in his life was amazing. He is going to be dearly missed.

Condolence: The Xavier University community is saddened to learn of Mark's passing. Mark had a passion for helping our Grads succeed and made it a point to be a "man for others" and work for the greater good. Most recently he helped me a great deal in my Category Management classes and provided personalized guidance to a number of our students to help them deliver great work in our classes. He would've been very proud of the students' final deliveries. It was great to get to know him and we'll miss his passion for his fellow Muskies and his craft. Godspeed Mark and Blessings to all.
