I lived next door to Chuck and Betty from 1993 to 2007 after moving from Texas. They immediately welcomed me and my son into the neighborhood and Chuck made sure to include us in all kinds of activities which eased my transition and made me feel at home. We went to basketball and football games, concerts, played golf, and just hung out in the neighborhood. He became my best friend and I can't imagine how hard my adjustment would have been if not for him.

Chuck was dependable and always had time for you, no matter how busy he may have been. I will miss Chuck immensely but I am fortunate that I have so many memories of the great times we had together. Many of the best times had nothing to do with an event but were just times we were sitting around, doing nothing but talking. This was an example of how much Chuck meant to me.

I have lost a great friend and we all have lost a great person in Chuck.
